The proposed 80 bed Mfuwe District Hospital is located in the Eastern Province and forms part of the Zambian Ministry of Health’s (MoH) Health Facility Programme, developed by NMS Infrastructure. The Health Facility Programme comprises the design and construction of five (5no.) state-of-the-art 80 bed District Hospitals. The hospital will offer a comprehensive range of primary, general and secondary medical services. Mfuwe District hospital will have 21st century equipment and facilities which will cover a land area of approximately 10 Hectares and provide full turnkey delivery of healthcare facilities.

The hospital design aims to deliver high quality, fast construction with a mix of passive environmental design and engineered MEP solutions befitting a contemporary hospital. The design will include accommodation units for core staff on the hospital campus, amenity space and children’s play areas, as well as the key hospital function buildings.
